Terms of service

By placing an order with Refined Cakes, you agree to the following:

Payment
Full payment is required at the time of placing your order. Orders are not confirmed until full payment is received.

Custom Cake Orders
All custom cake orders must be discussed and agreed prior to placing an order.
Orders placed without prior consultation may be cancelled and refunded at the discretion of Refined Cakes.
Customers must contact us directly before placing any custom cake order.

Changes to Orders
All changes must be requested at least 10 days prior to the delivery date. Changes requested after this time may not be possible.

Product Variations
All cakes are handmade, and slight variations in design, colour, finish, and taste may occur. Exact replication is not guaranteed.

Reference Images
Images provided are for inspiration only and will not be replicated exactly.

Non-Edible Items and Decorations
Cakes may contain non-edible items including supports, dowels (including wooden dowels), boards, toppers, and decorative elements.
Toppers may also be secured using wooden dowels or supports.
It is the customer’s responsibility to remove all non-edible items before serving. These items must not be consumed.

Allergy & Allergen Disclaimer
Customers must inform Refined Cakes of any allergies at the time of ordering.
We operate from a home kitchen handling all major allergens, including nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and soy.
We cannot guarantee any product is allergen-free.
We reserve the right to decline orders where severe allergies are present. By ordering, you accept this risk.

Photography and Marketing
We reserve the right to photograph cakes for marketing purposes.
Where cakes include personal images, these will be blurred before being shared publicly.

Discount Codes
Discount codes may only be used once per transaction and must be applied at checkout.
They cannot be added after purchase and are subject to expiry dates.
Codes have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
We reserve the right to withdraw or refuse codes where misuse is suspected.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Refined Cakes is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Liability is limited to the total value of the order.

Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to fulfil orders due to circumstances beyond our control, including illness, accidents, weather, or other unforeseen events.
